Q. How did your career progress at CN Brown Company? 

I started with CN Brown in July 2003 in the Pricebook department.  I moved to the IT department in 2007 and then back to Pricebook in 2018.  I’ve been part of a lot of conversions and projects over the years, but I think the two that I had a big part in and am most proud of are when we changed all of our point of sales over to Commander and the PDI conversion.

 Q. What’s the best part of your current job?

The best part of my current job is all of the different things I learn.  Every week I learn something new.  I also really enjoy the people I work with. We make a great team. 

Q. What’s the most challenging part of your job?

I think the most challenging part of my job is when I make mistakes.  I know I’m human and mistakes come with the territory, but I’m a perfectionist and do not like to mess up.  This is pressure I put on myself and not from my awesome boss. 

Q. What’s your favorite memory from working at CN Brown Company?

I’m huge into the holidays.  From Halloween until New Year’s I enjoy every part.  CN Brown always has fun things planned around the holidays.  I’d have to say my favorite memories were the kids coming to CN Brown to meet Santa and pick out presents for their parents every year.  My girls absolutely loved doing that.

 
Q. Why would you recommend working for CN Brown Company?

Everyone at CN Brown is so welcoming and caring.  I’ve never been made to feel like I can’t ask for time off for an appointment or anything personal.  The flexibility is great and well appreciated.
