CN Brown Company’s Employee Spotlight for July, Randy Henley!

Enjoy what Randy shared about his journey with CN Brown Company:

What was your first position with the company?

My first position with the company was truck driver in the transportation division.

Do you have any projects you’re proud of?

I’ve hauled a lot of gasoline and heating oil over the years. I served in the ARMY from 1971-1974.

How did your career progress at CN Brown Company?

I was hired onto the transport team in 1979 by Bud Brown, part-time. In March of 1982, I accepted a full-time driver position. I’ve been hauling fuel ever since then.

What’s the best part of your current job?

I enjoy that I get to work independently. I have the freedom to begin hauling when it works for me, I might start at 3am or 5am. I know what has to be done and I do it! I enjoy the freedom in driving truck.

What’s the most challenging part of your job?

Practicing patience when loading at the rack. If it’s busy, you end up waiting. Outside of that, inclement weather.

What’s your favorite memory from working at CN Brown Company?

Harold Jones. Harold’s a great guy. He’s friendly, honest, always had a way of making you feel like part of the team. One great memory with Harold was a Caribou Hunting Trip we were on together in Canada. I learned a lot about Harold in our talks.

Why would you recommend working for CN Brown Company?

Truck Driving is a good job. It’s good pay, especially if you aren’t afraid to work.

Thank you, Randy, for your 41 years of service to our company and 3 years to our country. We appreciate YOU!
