CN Brown Company’s Employee Spotlight, July 2021- Bonnie Page!
Enjoy what Bonnie shared about her journey with CN Brown Company:
Q: Have you worked on any projects you’re particularly proud of since beginning with CN Brown Company?
In 2016 we did a conversion of software for the heating oil division. This project has made the heating oil division to become more efficient so we are able to keep more people warm. I am very proud to have served on this project.
Q. How did your career progress at CN Brown Company?
I started as a cashier for the Big Apple Store in Lincoln. ME. From there I was promoted to manager of that location. I managed that location for 2 1/2 years then was promoted to a Territory Manager. Here I am still doing the job that I love to do 25 years later!
Q. What’s the best part of your current job?
I very much enjoy training people and watching them grow through their years of employment with the company. It makes me very proud when I watch an individual grow and be recognized by being promoted from the hard work that that individual has put in.
Q. What’s the most challenging part of your job?
I think my most challenging part is not being able to make everyone happy. That sometimes I have to say no.
Q. What’s your favorite memory from working at CN Brown Company?
Meeting people
Trade shows. When we were able to have group gatherings to be able to socialize with all of the company managers and vendors. There are many memories in the old days of the trade show closing and it was a free for all and you would just stay out of the way because you might get hit with a load of bread. Then with rules being enforced so that did not happen, I still really enjoyed the trade show gatherings. To be able to see people that I don’t get a chance to see regularly.
Q. Why would you recommend working for CN Brown Company?
CN Brown Company is a family owned company and they treat you like you are part of their family.
